Golf tourney raises P500,000 for charity

The Botswana Foundation Trust has managed to raise P500,000 for charity following the Duke of Edinburgh Cup held at the Gaborone Golf Club last week.

British High Commissioner to Botswana, Nick Pyle told Mmegi Sport after the tournament that the charity event was launched last year.

It is the brainchild of Pyle, Marshall Huntingford and Taff Williams.  He said Botswana is considered a developing economy, but the country has some challenges.
