ECCO emerge from slumber to thump GNT

FRANCISTOWN: In a stunning fashion, ECCO City Greens woke from slumber and hammered neighbours GNT 6-2 on Sunday.

Mamojadiski had a poor start to the season and faced harsh criticism from their supporters. ECCO lost their two opening league fixtures and a third successive loss would have put their title credentials into further doubt.

On Sunday ECCO were boosted by the availability of South African born forward, Lovers Mofokeng, who contributed a single goal in the match before coming off after sustaining an injury.  The South African was making his debut after sitting out in the first two matches due to work permit issues.
