The annual Diacore Gaborone Marathon (DGM) has proven to be too tough for local athletes after runners failed to finish in the top five of the race for both men and women.

For many years, foreign runners have been winning the marathon. The trend continued yesterday at the 8th edition, which was won by Ramolefi Motsiela.
