Barrows excels at new South African club

Men’s national team basketball player, Churchill Barrows is excelling at his new South African side North West Eagles. The Eagles play in the Basketball National League (BNL).

The 1.93 metre tall shooting guard has been with the side for the past month and has already made his mark as the club’s top scorer. He joined the team when the BNL season started last month for this campaign.

“With the southern Africa basketball society being small, I was approached by South African guys who advised me to join one of the teams in their league. I took some time trying to find a club that I could play for that side then I opted for North West Eagles,” the 25-year-old said.
