The president of Africa Netball (AN), Tebogo Lebotse-Sebego is hopeful that their application to be included in the All Africa Games programme will be successful as they appear before the Association of African Sports Confederations (AASC) board meeting today in Brazzaville, Congo.

Lebotse-Sebego told Mmegi Sport from Brazzaville yesterday that netball is not yet affiliated to AASC.

She said Africa Netball has been invited to a meeting where their application will be considered. She said netball is predominantly a Commonwealth countries' sport and it is not played in most Francophone countries.
