New Bishop for Botswana

On 28.11.2009 the Synod of ELCSA-Botswana Diocese has elected an new bishop. He is Rev. Lebaleng Jacob Selwane.

He has been a Deputy Bishop of  ELCSA - Western Diocese up to 31.12.2009  and is a citizen of RSA.

This, of course, is in line with the understanding of ELCSA that this is a  church in Southern Africa with Dioceses in Swaziland and Botswana.
