Decentralise the Central District

The year 2009 is gone for good and 2010 is here and so I would like to wish Batswana and fellow Africans a prosperous and fruitful future especially as we would be hosting the World Cup for the first time in Africa.

The main reason I am writing this letter is to express my gratitude at the decentralization of the Central District Council by giving more power to the sub - districts such as Bobirwa Sub District.

I still feel that this is not enough as I still believe these should be given the full status of a full district which would be completely independent of Serowe. However the little that has been done is the beginning and my hope is that as the authorities realize the benefits of this action, they would relent and do away with this colonial mentality.
