Y-Care donates P325,000 to charity

Y -Care Charitable Trust donated a total of P325, 000 to over 19 organisations last Thursday.

The Trust raised the money through their annual sponsored adventure walk at Makgadikgadi Pans, Kgalagadi sand dunes, Domboshaba and Tswapong Hills.At beneficiaries dinner night in Gaborone, the chairman of the Trust, Modise Keofhethile assured corporate sponsors and individual participants that the money they raised would go to good use. “Thank you for giving us your money. This is what we do with your money. We pass it to good causes that desperately need funds,” said Keofhethile.

He urged the sponsors to continue their noble help to those in need. Keofhethile also thanked everyone who assisted Y-Care Chairman’s Challenge, which saw him jogging from Francistown to Gaborone in a week raising awareness for diabetes. The funds were given to charity organisations around Botswana that applied for funds.
