WUC worker suffocates under Spaghetti fly over

FRANCISTOWN: A 33-year-old Water Utilities Corporation(WUC) worker has allegedly died due to asphyxia whilst maintaining a drainage manhole under a flyover connected to Thapama Interchange commonly known as Spaghetti road.

Kutlwano Police station commander Neo Serumola confirmed that the WUC male employee is suspected to have died whilst maintaining the manhole for a drainage system.

Serumola dismissed as untrue reports that the deceased man lost his life after falling into a drain at the fly over.
