Woolworths Donates P1M-Worth Of Clothes

Woolworths Botswana demonstrated compassion when it handed over clothes to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) in partnership with Gaborone City Council (GCC).

The value of the clothes is estimated to be close to P1 million. Speaking at the handover ceremony at Pavillion Restaurant in Gaborone, the general manager of Woolworths Botswana, Gorata Lekau pointed out that the donation is part of their partnership with GCC, which has been going on for four years. 

Lekau added that as part of their CSI project, they have donated clothes valued at over P5 million through the partnership with the city council as well as through their individual stores.
