FRANCISTOWN: Tatitown police are investigating the death of an unknown elderly man found inside a Toyota Hilux on Tuesday morning.

Tatitown Police Station commander Boipuso Baatweng told MmegiOnline that they received a report from a passerby, who found the unknown elderly man motionless in a car.

He said that the man suspected to be between ages 60 and 70 years, was found dead just a few metres away from Borolong Bridge. He added: “When we arrived at the scene, we found the man motionless in a pool of blood seated on the driver’s side. We suspect that the deceased person was attacked whilst he was driving from Borolong to Francistown.” Baatweng stated that the deceased man sustained deep scars on his head and suspects that he was hit with a metal object or a sharp object might have been used.
