Two tragic bus crash victims yet to be identified

Seven of the nine people who died in Sunday's bus accident near Lechana settlement along the A1 Highway have identified. However, despite the identification of the deceased, police say DNA tests will still be conducted to formally identify the deceased.

Palapye Police Station commander, Superintendent Koziba Phuluweni, said four of the deceased sustained less severe injuries.

This, he explained, made it easier for them to be identified, whilst the remaining five suffered extensive injuries, complicating the identification process.
