A violent confrontation between two men over a woman in Mabuo village has resulted in one fatality,
police have confirmed. Serowe Police Station commander, Superintendent Poloko Oteng said the murder occurred on Friday at around 1am in Mogadingwane ward, Mabuo village. He explained that on the fateful night, the deceased, a 28-year-old man of the same ward, had gone to the suspect's place in Mosaise ward in the same village looking for his girlfriend, something that led to a fight between the two men. "Whilst fighting, the 19-year-old suspect grabbed a sharp object and fatally stabbed the deceased.
The matter was reported to the police and they rushed the deceased to Sekgoma Memorial Hospital where he was certified dead on arrival by doctors. "We have since arrested the teen suspect and is likely to appear at Serowe Magistrates Court to face a single count of murder this week," he said.
