Triple murder accused soldier slapped with six charges

With a visibly heavy escort surrounding the Lobatse Magistrates' Court yesterday, Lance Corporal Moagi Mokomeng, the soldier who allegedly killed three family members finally appeared before court.

Appearing before court, Mokomeng adorned in a blue mask and a black tracksuit, the triple murder accused soldier’s charge sheet was read out.

The 34-year-old soldier faces six counts of murder, attempted murder, and arson. For the murder charge, he is accused of killing Elizabeth Ramolala, Alefha Ramolala, and Katlego Ramolala in Kgomokasitwa, on February 25, 2025.
