FRANCISTOWN: The Officer commanding No.1 district Senior Superintendent Paul Molapisi has confirmed that Oketsang France has been arrested.

The 40-year-old who has been on the run for eight days is linked to the murder of his three sons aged 13,10 and eight years. The incident took place in Tati Siding's Mmoroso ward. Speaking to Mmegi online this morning ,Molapisi stated that France was arrested yesterday at night around greater Francistown. He stated that France will appear before Francistown Magistrate court soon. According to police reports, prior to the horrific incident, the father and sons had gone to bed as usual with nothing amiss. It was reported that France had killed three of his sons with a knife, and then used the same weapon to strike his mother (their grandmother) before fleeing from the scene. The children were raised by their paternal grandmother and their father, while their mother stayed in Francistown. A memorial service for the three boys will be held today (Thursday) in the afternoon at Tati Primary School.
