Toddler dies in car accident

PALAPYE: A mother helplessly watched her two-year-old girl die after the car she was driving veered off the road and overturned along the Serowe/Letlhakane road near Mmashoro recently.

The two were travelling with three other passengers. The 40-year-old mother escaped the accident with minor scratches. A 29-year-old passenger is admitted at the Mahalapye Referral Hospital with a fractured leg.

The other passengers were treated at Sekgoma Memorial Hospital and were released.
