Three sustain injuries as car rolls, hits tree

Three men aged between 23 and 35 are currently fighting for their lives in hospital after they were involved in a serious motor accident along the Airport road in Gaborone on Sunday early morning.

The accident occurred around 1:05am when the Nissan vehicle the trio occupied overturned and crashed into a tree along the road. No.13 Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Obusitswe Lokae confirmed their investigation into the matter, stating that two of the occupants are currently hospitalised at Princess Marina Hospital with serious injuries.

"One of them has sustained a fractured right hand whilst the other has sustained serious head injuries. The third occupant, who has also sustained serious head injuries, is currently hospitalised at Bokamoso Private Hospital," he said.
