Three could slug it out for BNF presidency

With the much awaited BNF central committee elections just three months away party activists are firing lobby lists in readiness for the make or break July 2010 congress. It appears there might be three presidential camps at the congress.

The names that are being bandied around are those of Gaborone attorney Duma Boko, another Gaborone lawyer Dr Bucks Molatlhegi and the name of current Vice President Olebile Gaborone is also being mentioned as a potential contender.

In one list which is made up of people that were identified with Temporary Platform Molatlhegi heads the list as President, Nehemiah Modubule is Vice President, Akanyang Magama is Secretary General, Lebohang Letsie is Deputy Secretary General, Harry Mothei is Chairperson, Dr Mino Polelo who perished in a car accident last week was identified as publicity secretary, Aubrey Lesaso is Treasurer, Dr Elmon Tafa is Secretary for political education, Maemo Bantsi is Labour secretary, Gabriel Kanjabanga is Secretary for economic affairs, Health secretary is Tiny Kojane, Moses Maoto is to contest for International affairs while Mookane councilor Timothy Mmopi is to contest for the position of Organising secretary.
