Thamaga police investigates fatal stabbing

Thamaga police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a 39-year-old man who succumbed to stab wounds sustained in an incident that occurred on Sunday.

The victim was reportedly found by his elder brother at around 6am on Sunday with a stab wound to the chest. He was rushed to a local clinic for emergency treatment before being referred to Princess Marina Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Confirming the incident, Thamaga Acting Station Commander, Assistant Superintendent Maimane Phele, said police are still piecing together the circumstances surrounding the fatal stabbing.
