Teenage boy found dead in the Bokaa Dam

Mochudi police have recovered the body of a 14-year-old boy at Bokaa Dam yesterday morning. According to the police, the boy’s lifeless body was pulled out of the dam at 8:30am following a 12-hour search.

The acting station commander, Wazha Zambezi, told Mmegi that a report of the incident of possible drowning was received at around 4pm on Sunday.

“We could not locate the body by Sunday evening so we called off the search around 7pm and resumed on Monday morning,” Zambezi said.
