Teen charged with rape after alleged attack in Kuke

A 19-year-old teenager is in police custody after he was allegedly involved in the rape of a 30-year-old woman at Kuke on Saturday. According to police, the suspect allegedly dragged the woman from an entertainment venue to his house, where he is accused of raping her.

The suspect allegedly claimed that the two had previously been in a relationship.

Gantsi Police Station Commander, Superintendent Motlamedi George, said the matter was reported by the victim, who told officers that the suspect approached her at the entertainment spot and requested to speak with her.
