Swaneng student arrested on drug charge

A Swaneng secondary school male student in Serowe is in hot soup after he was caught with eight sachets of marijuana and four wrapped pieces of dagga.

Police suspect that the 17-year-old boy might have been selling drugs to other learners looking at the quantity.

Officer Commanding, senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said the learner and 12 other suspects were arrested following a weeklong routine operation by the North-Central division in Palapye after they were found in possession of dagga.
