Suspended police officer sues Commissioner

The case of suspended police officer, Daniel Tlalenyane against Police Commissioner Keabetswe Makgophe has been postponed once again by the High Court.

Justice Terrence Rannoane has moved the case to August 27. Tlalenyane, who allegedly received a bribe in 2010 whilst on duty, has since been suspended from duty pending his disciplinary hearing.

According to papers before court, on October 21, 2010 Tlalenyane was charged with acting in a manner that would dishonour the reputation of the Botswana Police Service (BPS).
