Suspected Lovers Found Dead In Ramokgonami

MAHALAPYE: Police are investigating a case in which a 25-year-old woman was found dead in a pool of blood in Ramokgonami village this week.

Mahalapye District Criminal Investigations Department (CID) officer, detective superintendent Letsweletse Baile told The Monitor that the woman was found in a pool of blood with gruesome injuries on her neck and on her left hand.

“It appears that a dangerous weapon was used to slay the deceased as the injuries around her neck were cut deep,” he said.
