Standard Chartered Bank undertakes �Employee Volunteering Month�

Standard Chartered Bank has declared their annual ‘Employee Volunteering Month’ which began on September 21 and will continue until October 20. With close to 900 staff in Botswana, the Bank encourages its employees to use their interests and skills to help out in the communities in which it is based to make a real difference.

During this dedicated month, many staff will spend time working on causes that the bank supports such as financial education, eradicating preventable blindness or support for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Other employees choose to volunteer for a cause close to their own heart, from planting trees to mentoring or training youth on health and hygiene.
