St. George’s University to host special ceremony in Gaborone

This event, a centerpiece of the University’s 50th-anniversary calendar, honours the academic achievements and professional impact of SGU’s Botswana graduates and their contributions to the regional healthcare landscape. The ceremony serves as a formal recognition of over 130 Botswana physicians trained at SGU, many of whom now occupy critical roles within the Ministry of Health and private clinical practice.

Through hosting the event in Gaborone, SGU acknowledges the importance of the African physician network and provides a localised platform for families and the domestic medical community to celebrate these milestones.
