Charma-gal says she has found a breakthrough this year, after Kgalagadi Breweries engaged her on a ten days tour.

She continues to be booked for special performances, like her recent performance at Khawa Dunes Challenge, the victory celebrations of Lobatse MP, Saadique Kebonang, the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) rally, and a charity event in Mogorosi, near Serowe.

Charma-gal  also updated The Monitor about her new album, Ekentolo Vol 6. “ It is flying off the shelves, it is a huge success, maybe that is why he is trying to claim it as  stolen property.”

Charma gal  denies that she has stolen the album from her ex-husband. “ First of all, it was not recorded at Culture Spears Studios as Kabelo alleged to you; I recorded it at Touch studios; I didn’t steal anything, including songs; they were programmed by Touch at his studios; KB cannot claim anything because he had gone to the north with his  Le-14; when he returned I had already finished the album and he offered to do marketing for me.”

On allegations that she ran away with show money after  the Ghantsi performance, Charma-gal says on the contrary she made it clear to Kabelo that the money would be used to pay the dancers’s wages after they had gone for almost a year without pay.

“ You can ask the girls, I distributed the money among them, it was not enough, but they had to get something; he should have added that it is him who left with a bag load after a Ramotswa show, and went on escapade with his Le-14,”.
