The call was made by Letlhakane Police Station commander, Michael Maphephu, in an interview with The Monitor. His comments come following the recent arrest of a Zimbabwean man who was found to have shared pornographic videos with a Form 2 student of Motsumi Junior Secondary School in Letlhakane village. He stated that the Zimbabwean then asked the young girl to come over to his place, promising to buy her a drink in exchange for the visit. The station commander revealed that when the girl got to the suspect’s house, he offered her a drink, but she refused to go inside the house to get it.
