Six up for stealing electric cables worth P1.5m

FRANCISTOWN: Six men appeared before Principal Magistrate Dumisani Basupi for allegedly stealing electric copper cables and appliances worth P1.5 million.

The state alleges that Batswana nationals Mmusi Kelapile, 28, Mothusi Lesole, 38, Fetogang Mathunya, 31, and three Zimbabweans Nxobizitha Ncube, 23, Petros Moyo, 26, and Bhekinkosi Ncube, 27, stole the cables between the months of June and September 2013 at the new Francistown Stadium.

Prosecutor Mothusi Dintwa told the court that he still had to peruse the documents and amend the charge sheet.
