One week after two Seabelo Express buses were involved in an accident, which claimed five lives, another bus from the transport company burnt to ashes at Mmamabule area about 10km after Dibete.
The bus was travelling to Francistown from Gaborone. The Police said luckily in this incident all passengers on board managed to get out of the bus together with their luggage.
Dibete station commander, superintendent Meshack Ranku said their preliminary investigations have established that the bus had a mechanical problem.
“The fire started on the back wheel, it appears that the wheel might have had a mechanical fault and locked whilst the bus was in motion and caught fire.”
