Quintet arrested for suspected marijuana possession

Four men and a woman in Khurakhura ward, Gantsi were arrested and charged with possession of rolls and sachets containing a substance suspected to be marijuana.

The quintet was arrested following a three-day operation in the area that targeted suspected drug lords and managed to seize sealed bundles of substances suspected to be marijuana.

No 6 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Thari Senwelo said they held a three-day operation from December 16 to 18 and managed to arrest and charge five people suspected to be marijuana dealers in possession of rolls and sachets of dagga.
