Jwaneng mayor, Olga Ditsie has decried poor roll out of projects in the area. Speaking at the Jwaneng Town Full Council meeting this week, Ditsie expressed her disappointment with the roll out of projects across Departments in their district and indicated that this has led to eroded trust in them by the community who deserve the services denied.

Ditsie said the delayed projects include Constituency Community Projects (CCP). “Two are ongoing for the financial year 2019/2020 being the construction of the WDC office block at Masaasele (defects and liability period) and the construction of a cottage industry which has not yet started, yet the contractor was awarded and given mobilisation fee.

Another project under the CCP is the construction of a kitchen and classroom blocks at our junior secondary schools which tenders have not floated,” she said.
