Police have voiced concern over the rising number of unlicensed drivers in the Greater Gaborone.

Divisional Traffic Officer for South Central, Assistant Commissioner Reginald Matlhaba told The Monitor that the rapidly growing trend is worrying and largely to blame for the fatalities recorded almost daily.

He stated that most of young drivers in the Greater Gaborone are unlicensed and seem not to be bothered by that even though it is an offence.
