Police wait on attempted passion killing victim

A 26-year–old victim of attempted passion killing is fighting for her life at Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone after her boyfriend committed suicide.

Reports say the woman’s 29-year-old boyfriend from Siga in Ramotswa attempted to kill her on Tuesday last week.

Ramotswa Police Station commander, Mothusi Phadi said they have not been able to speak to the victim who is the only one who can tell them what happened. “She is still unable to speak at the moment due to the injuries she sustained,” he said.
