Police register 109 rape cases during festive

Police have recorded 109 rape cases during the festive season from December 21, 2018 to January 3, 2019.

According to the media release this is a worrisome factor as rape is one of the violent and intrusive crimes.

"According to the investigations most rape cases happened at different places where festivities were held," the police said.
