Police praise Paje revellers for 'model behaviour'

Multitudes of revellers flocked Paje village on Saturday to attend the inaugural Kokorwe 200 Motorcycle Race post-COVID-19 with law enforcement lauding patrons for their good behaviour.

According to Serowe Police Station commander, Superintendent Poloko Oteng a sizeable number of officers was deployed in and around the village as they had anticipated heightened criminal activity.

He said they managed to control the crowds whose behaviour was exceptional despite a large number of revellers in attendance. Oteng added they did not record any serious offences such as murder, rape, or assault, or register any fatal accident accidents as they had anticipated.
