Police officer' murder: boyfriend arrested

The boyfriend to the female police officer who was stabbed to death yesterday in Tsholofelo, Gaborone has been arrested in relation to the murder incident.

The boyfriend to the deceased was arrested this morning in Lobatse. Asked if indeed the boyfriend handed himself to Lobatse police as alleged, No:3 officer commanding, senior Superintendent, Theriso Thatayotlhe, dismissed the rumours, but confirmed that he was arrested by the police following a manhunt.

"The suspect will soon be arraigned before Broadhurst Magistrates Court and investigations into the matter are ongoing," Thatayotlhe said.
