Police investigate string of rape cases

Police in Mogoditshane's No.13 District are investigating three rape cases that occured on Friday and Saturday in which a 15-year-old girl, an 18-year-old, and a 37-year-old woman were attacked and raped.

No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Mmoloke Sebako said the first rape case was recorded on Friday after a 15-year-old girl was attacked and gang raped by two men in Ledumadumane, Mogoditshane.

He said the little girl was walking alone, met two unknown men who grabbed and dragged her to an unoccupied house in the neighbourhood, where they subsequently took turns raping her before fleeing.
