Police arrest church thieves

Tlokweng Police arrested two Batswana men aged between 35 and 37 in connection with a case in which a church was burglarised.

According to a press release from the Botswana Police Service's (BPS) public relations officer Near Bagali, the breaking and theft suspects were found in possession of stolen goods taken from one of the local churches in Tlokweng last Wednesday. The property was valued at over P10,000 which included among others speakers, microphones and a generator.

“The suspects are in police custody while investigations continue," Bagali stated.
