Pedestrian dies along Segoditshane Way

FRANCISTOWN: A man died yesterday after he was hit by a car along Segoditshane Way in Broadhurst, Gaborone.

Deputy divisional traffic officer for South Central, Senior Superintendent Boiki Mojalemotho said the accident happened at about 3:45am on Sunday near the Tsholofelo Park traffic lights.

He explained that the 19-year-old lad, who was behind the wheel of a Land Rover, allegedly killed the unknown man while he was crossing the street from the east to the west end of the road. Mojalemotho indicated that the motorist was southbound when he allegedly struck the unidentified man.
