OAIC elects new committee

PALAPYE: The Organisation of African Independent Churches (OAIC) held their re-run elections in Palapye at Eloyi Christian Church at Khurumela ward on Saturday.

The elections, the third since the formation of OAIC in 1984, confirmed Bishop Mookami Motlhagodi as its president after many years as the interim leader. He beat Rev Moarabi Otlogetswe to the post.

Bishop Daniel Maluke was elected the vice president while Rev Segopotso Tsheledi won the Committee Secretary position and Tshenolo Dithothore was voted the deputy Secretary.
