NGOs come to the rescue of Tropical Cyclone Idai victims

Botswana Federation of Trade Unions (BFTU) and Botswana Labour Migrants Association (BoLAMA) have collaborated with Botswana Red Cross Society to solicit relief assistance in the form of donations for victims of Tropical Cyclone Idai .

The effects of the Cyclone have been catastrophic leading to the death of thousands of people, displacement of hundreds of thousands and outbreaks of diseases such as cholera which continue to claim more lives weeks after the cyclone in Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique. 

“Victims, who have been adversely, affected by this natural disaster need as much help as possible.
