New Era SRC organises 10 years anniversary

New Era College of Arts, Science and Technology has been celebrating 10 years of impact in engineering and training in 2019.

On August 30th of  2019, the Student Representative Council (SRC) in collaboration with the 10th Year Anniversary Committee held a celebration for the student body on their campus in Block 8.

The College partnered with Mascom as part of their ongoing Mascom Varsity Tour who brightened up the day with their PlayStation stall, ChillStep Dj’s, the vibrant MC Mdu Tha Party and the talented “Rejection” artist Han C.

The day also featured a surprise performance from BK Proctor, whose unique sound and Collections by BK Proctor merchandise giveaways left the crowd gasping for more from the artist.

The night was topped off by a show stopping performance from the chart topping Vee Mampeezy.

The “I Love You” and “Dololo” hit maker was in his element with the students not wanting him to leave the stage after an earth shattering session of choreographed gyrating and rump shaking from Vee and his dancers.

When reflecting on the event, SRC Minister of Entertainment, Galaletsang “Sparx”  Pelekekae said “The students are extremely happy that they got to experience such a wonderful night on the College.

The memories will last a lifetime and we will always remember what New Era College did for us as the College celebrates this decade.”
