A 41-year-old man of Extension 5, in Palapye has been arrested for allegedly raping a teen girl who happens to be his neighbour.
MmegiOnline has learnt that on the fateful day, the teenage girl, 13, had gone to the neighbour’s place to watch television.
The matter was confirmed by Palapye Station commander, Superintendent, Molly Lebala-Moduke, who said the suspect has since been arrested and is currently in custody for investigations.
“The teenage girl stays with her grandmother and her siblings and had left them to go and watch television at their neighbour’s {house} and when she returned, her grandmother noticed she wasn’t fine and reported the matter to the police,” Lebala-Moduke said.
