Nata school girl's body found

FRANCISTOWN: The lifeless body of a Standard Six female pupil was on Wednesday morning found near her family's tuck-shop at Nata village's Mmakwenaejang ward.

This is after the deceased, whose age was still to be ascertained at the time of going to press, went missing for the whole night. Police in Nata confirmed the shocking incident but could not shed more light on the matter as they had just started investigating.

"A pupil whose age is still to be established was on Wednesday morning found dead at a certain homestead in the village. We have learnt that the girl was doing Standard Six," said Nata police commander Superintendent Otsile Fani.
