Motive unknown—Motube on Sese cops shooting

In the aftermath of an incident in which a police constable shot and killed a colleague and injured another before turning the gun on himself, investigators say the shooter’s motive is 'unknown'.

Reached for comment, the Botswana Police Service Public Relations Officer, Assistant Commissioner Dipheko Motube said on Friday evening, a 34-year-old male constable shot and killed his 36-year-old female colleague from Bokaa using his service rifle.

The officer then shot at and wounded another officer, 56, from Tatisiding before he turned the gun on himself.
