Moswaane sends clergymen to Khama

FRANCISTOWN: In a desperate bid to stop the weekend by-election, Botswana Democratic Party's (BDP) embattled candidate Ignatius Moswaane yesterday dispatched a delegation of clergymen to petition President Ian Khama.

Although the BDP Francistown regional office does not have any official notification on the matter, the chairman of the region, Ford Moiteela confirmed receiving reports to that effect.

Moiteela said he heard through the grapevines that a delegation of clergymen has been dispatched to deliver a petition to Khama.
