Some members of the newly formed Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) do not want the interim president Biggie Butale to be challenged in the coming party congress.

This is so as they feel that the party would not be stable if elective congress has more than one lobby list.

The Monitor has learnt that some members of the BPF are lobbying Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi to defect to the newly formed party and become its president.
