Met Services department issues heat wave warning

The Department of Meteorological Services advises the public of the prevailing weather conditions of extremely hot temperatures from today until Friday over most parts of the country.

The most affected districts are the Gantsi, Ngamiland, Chobe, Central, Northeast, Northern-Kgalagadi, SouthEast, Kgatleng and Kweneng districts.

Temperatures are expected to reach highs of between 380 and 40o while the Southern-Kgalagadi and Southern districts are also expected to still be very hot, with temperatures expected to range between 35 and 37c.
