Mathokgwane returns to active politics

After taking a break from political activism for six years, former Goodhope/Mabule legislator James Mathokgwane is retracing his steps to the game, Mmegi has learnt.

Inside sources say Mathokgwane is busy consulting some members in his area about his intention. He is aspiring to contest for the 2024 general election if he wins the Botswana National Front (BNF) primary election.

“It is true Mathokgwane is consulting members and different people about his intention to contest. There is a team that is helping him with the campaign. He has been working well with Goodhope/Mabule residents although he was not active in politics.
